Abstracts in Cold Wax and Oil

I have always been an artist.  I can't remember a time when I wasn't drawing or coloring.  I began working with oil and cold wax recently and feel like I have found the medium that combines my passions - color and texture.  

I work primarily in cold wax and oil paint at this time, sometimes with base paintings of acrylic.  I love incorporating handmade paper, ink, oil pastels, chalk and other mediums to help build the history of each piece.

I am passionate about color and texture, which is why this medium is so perfect for me.  Building up layers of color and texture is so freeing to me.
